In 1962 Marilyn Monro posed for photographer Bert Stern in a series of photos that have collectively become known as “The Last Sittingâ€. The photos were taken in “several boozy sessions†at the Hotel Bel-Air and are probably the most famous images of Marilyn ever taken. Six weeks after Marilyn’s photos were taken she was found dead in her home from an overdose.
